Sleeps 1-2 people


 

One of the most affordable options in Ketchikan, the New York Hotel overlooks Thomas Basin Harbor and the famed Inside Passage, and is adjacent to Creek Street. Eight carefully restored rooms boast a historic atmosphere complete with modern amenities. New York Hotel rooms each include free wifi, premier cable, coffee, a small fridge, and a full bath. Rooms are furnished with a queen bed or two twin beds. Rooms facing the street offer wonderful views of the harbor while rooms in the back provide quiet privacy.  Alaska's oldest and most famous restaurant—the New York Cafe—serves delicious food and provides full room service.

 

Bayside Hotel / $159-$229 per night

Arguably the most luxurious place to stay in Ketchikan, the historic Bayside Hotel is the newest addition to the Inn at Creek Street family. Having recently received a multi-million dollar restoration, each room is equipped with a queen-size bed, fridge, heated bathroom floors, large HDTVs and all modern comforts.  These modern hotel rooms feature history, art, peace and quiet, design, and inspirational views of Ketchikan Creek, Deer Mountain and Thomas Basin Harbor—all with a touch of history.  A deck surrounds the building at the boardwalk level and provides up-close views of the creek as well as covered outside relaxation.

 

The Star Room is located on the second floor of the historic Star House on Creek Street and overlooks the footbridge of Ketchikan Creek. The Star House was once the only registered brothel in the territory of Alaska before it closed in 1954. Today it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Star Room features a two-person Jacuzzi tub, feather-top queen bed, flat screen HDTV, kitchenette, and of course, a lovely view of the Creek. This quaint is perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway, or individuals hoping to retreat into a relaxing atmosphere. Also located in the Star House is famed artist Ray Troll's  store: filled with artful delights.

You won't get any closer to Ketchikan Creek than the Creekside Lofted Suites. Located just off Creek Street boardwalk and overhanging Ketchikan Creek, you'll marvel at the changing scenery from your balcony as the tidal-changing creek transforms throughout the day. During low tide, you'll witness rushing rapids flowing down the Creek to the enjoyment of seagulls, eagles and herons, while the high tide brings seals, salmon and kayakers. Each unit has a kitchenette, Jacuzzi tub and a loft bedroom with a queen-size bed. Rain or shine, you'll enjoy the Creek from the balcony, witnessing a new sight each day.

 

THELMA’s PLACE/ $159-$199 PER NIGHT

Welcome to Thelma's Place, a charming second-floor retreat on Creek Street that embodies the perfect blend of comfort and scenic allure. Featuring a queen bed and a twin sofa sleeper, this cozy haven offers a thoughtfully designed shower and a large flat-screen TV. Positioned on the historic Creek Street boardwalk, you'll be captivated by the ever-changing dynamics of Ketchikan Creek, from rushing rapids during low tide to the serene presence of seals and kayakers at high tide. Immerse yourself in the timeless beauty of Creek Street, where Thelma's Place provides a delightful vantage point to be a part of the daily transformations of this enchanting locale.

Bayside Hotel / $169-$229 PER NIGHT

Two of our Bayside hotel rooms offer comfortable sofa sleepers, making them suitable for four guests. Each room is equipped with a queen-size bed, fridge, heated bathroom floors, large HDTVs and all modern comforts. The Bayside Sofa Sleeper room and the Bayside Premium room are both located on the corner of the building providing breathtaking views of the Creek and Thomas Basin Harbor. These modern hotel rooms feature history, art, peace and quiet, design.  A deck surrounds the building at the boardwalk level and provides up-close views of the creek as well as covered outside relaxation.

Located right by the Creek’s landmark Camelback bridge, June’s Place is a fully furnished, two-bedroom vacation rental with wireless internet, large screen HDTV, premier cable, a kitchen, spacious living room with a queen sofa sleeper, washer and dryer, and large bathroom. June's most notable feature, in addition to its fascinating history, is its unique, scenic views of Thomas Basin and Creek Street. Depending on which window you look out, you'll delight in incredible sights of the harbor, historic district, and the ever-changing hustle and bustle of Ketchikan Creek—all while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of this quiet vacation rental.

 

The wharf / $269-$329 PER NIGHT

Located directly on the Thomas Basin dock, The Wharf is a fully furnished, two-bedroom vacation rental with wireless internet, large screen HDTV, premier cable, a kitchen, spacious living room with a queen sofa sleeper, washer and dryer, and bathroom separated into a toilet room and shower room. The Wharf is authentically Ketchikan, with views of the Thomas Basin boat harbor. Located next door is the iconic “Potlatch Bar.” Join in on the fun on Friday and Saturday with Karaoke nights. (Ear plugs provided for those not interested in the festivities!)

 

This two-story vacation rental is the oldest building in Creek Street National Historic District. Renovated with contemporary furnishings, you'll feel like you're at home, especially when you're sitting next to the fireplace: a perfect place to curl up with a good book and relax after a long day touring the town. Located directly on the Creek Street boardwalk, you'll enjoy the stunning views of the harbor and the Creek.  This unit is perfect for a family (or two couples) with its two bedrooms—one with a queen bed and one with two twins. It also has a comfortable fold-out sofa in the living room, kitchen, washer and dryer, and small dining area.
